For the purposes of this Privacy Statement, “you” means any user who uses any of the services that we offer, including visitors to our website and mobile application, users of Tagger Media Analytics Platform and any other services we may offer from time to time (collectively, “Services”). This Privacy Statement applies to all users, including those users who use the Services via their employer or another company.
1.2. This Privacy Statement applies to all of the information that we collect through our Services, irrespective of the type of Services or the device on which you access the Services.
1.3. We may update this Privacy Statement from time to time to clarify or amend our privacy practices. If we make a material change to this Privacy Statement, we will notify you either by email, notice on or through the Services, or in some other way. Your continued use of the Services or access of the Website constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Statement.
2.1. If you register as a user of any of our Services, we may ask you to provide your name, email address, contact telephone number (landline and/or mobile), the company you work for, a username and password and other information relevant to the Services we provide. If you are not an administrative user for your account, the same information about you may be provided by a colleague or other third party. We may also collect other information directly from you, from time to time.
2.2. If you contact our support services, we will collect the information we need to categorize your question and respond to it. We also use this information to track potential issues with our Services and customize our support responses to better serve you.
2.3. We collect information about you when you use any part of our Services. For example, if you are logged in to Tagger Media Analytics Platform, we will collect information as to how often it is used, what queries are created or amended, what mentions are looked at and other information about how you interact with our Analytics Platform. We may also collect information about how you interact with messages we send to you.
2.4. We also infer information about you based on the information you have provided or made available to us. This may include personalizing your experience of using our Services, suggesting different Services you may be interested in trying, or other inferences about you.
2.5. We are constantly trying to improve our Services to you. This means that we are introducing new features of our Services regularly, some of which may result in the collection of new information from you.
2.6. The Services are restricted and limited for use by people 16 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 years of age. If you are under 16, do not use any services (such as social media platforms) that collect your information. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 16 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. 2.7. Tagger Media does not process special categories of personal data as defined by Article 9 of GDPR.
3. AUTOMATED INFORMATION COLLECTION
In addition to the information that you provide to us, we may also collect information about you during your visit to our Services. We collect this information using automated tools that are detailed below. These tools may collect information about your behavior and your computer system, such as your internet address (IP Address), the pages you have viewed, and the actions you have taken while using the Services. Some of the tools we use to automatically collect information about you may include:
(a) Cookies. A “cookie” is a small data file transmitted from a website to your computer’s hard drive. Cookies are usually defined in one of two ways, and we may use both of them:

(b) Web Beacons. A Web Beacon is an electronic image. If you choose to receive emails from us, we may use Web Beacons to track your reaction to our emails. We may also use them to track if you click on the links and at what time and date you do so. Some of our third party marketing partners may use Web Beacons to track your interaction with online advertising banners on our Services. This information is only collected in aggregate form and will not be linked to your personal information. Please note that any image file on a webpage can act as a Web Beacon.
(c) Embedded Web Links. Links provided in our emails and, in some cases, on third party websites may include tracking technology embedded in the link. The tracking is accomplished through a redirection system. The redirection system allows us to understand how the link is being used by email recipients. Some of these links will enable us to identify that you have personally clicked on the link and this may be attached to the Personal Information that we hold about you. This data is used to improve our service to you and to help us understand the performance of our marketing campaigns.
(d) Third Party Websites and Services. We work with a number of service providers of marketing communications technology. These service providers may use various data collection methods to improve the performance of the marketing campaigns we are contracting them to provide. The information collected can be gathered on our Services. For example, we may collect data where our banner advertisements are displayed on third party websites.

4.3. We share information with our agents, contractors, and affiliates (meaning legal entities controlled by, controlling, or under common control with us) and partner service providers as reasonably necessary to provide the Services.

We may communicate transactional or service messages to you, such as welcoming you to our Services or informing you of scheduled downtime. We may also provide you with notices about your account, including expiration and renewal notices, as well as to notify you about:

6.4. Please note that we cannot always delete records of all historical data. For example, we are required to retain certain records for financial reporting and compliance reasons.

For the purposes of this User Privacy Statement, Tagger operates as a data controller, except for information that is obtained via third-party websites, online forums, or other platforms, in which case such platform will serve as data controller with respect to such information, and Tagger Media will serve as data processor. Any personal data we collect from you is processed in the United States, Canada or the European Union and under the terms of this Privacy Statement. Any personal data we collect from you is processed in the legitimate interest of our business and providing our services to you as the lawful means of such processing. We rely on the following legal bases for processing of your data: (i) your consent; (ii) contracts we may have in place with you; and (iii) legitimate business interests. You may always withdraw your consent to our use of your personal data as described below. We will only retain your personal data for the time necessary to provide you the information and services to which you have consented, to comply with the law and in accordance with your rights below.
